About

Built by someone
in the same stand as you

Gunnerup started as a group chat that could not hold an argument straight, and a spreadsheet nobody else could read.

A desk at night with a laptop and a notebook of scribbled line-ups

Why it exists

Every fanbase has the same three arguments on a loop, and loses them the same way: somebody half-remembers a number, somebody else half-remembers a different one, and the thread dies without anyone learning anything.

So this was built around one idea — the numbers should arrive in the room, while the argument is still warm. Then the shape you keep insisting on should be playable, so it can be wrong in front of everybody, including you.

What it is not

It is not a news site, not a rumour mill, and not trying to break anything before anyone else. There are people who do that far better. This is where you go afterwards to work out whether it meant anything.

It is also not official. No club marks, no affiliation, no pretending otherwise.

House rules

Three things,
and they are enforced

(01)

Argue with the take, not the person

Disagreement is the entire point of the place. Abuse is not disagreement, and the people who cannot tell the difference do not stay long.

(02)

A rumour is not news

Post it if you like, but label it. Anything presented as fact with nothing behind it gets removed, however many followers the account has.

(03)

Rooms have to earn their place

A room that has curdled into four people shouting gets closed, and nobody apologises for it. Better to lose a room than let it sour the rest.

Supporters watching a match together in a pub, seen from behind

Most of this was designed in rooms like this one, between the goals.

The next match
is already being argued about.
